The compute backend for Japanese voice generation (the Generate and Script pages). Per-page generation defaults now live in the Defaults tab. The SFX Maker always runs on Modal — though it draws from the same daily credits.
Auto tries the fast GPU first (uses your daily credits), then falls back to the free Hugging Face CPU — slower, may take a minute to wake, but uses no credits. Applies to Japanese voice generation only — the SFX Maker always uses Modal.
Light/dark mode and accent palette — applied instantly and saved on this device.
